More and more companies see influencer marketing as an important tool to reach their target groups. Our founder John, as an influencer marketing expert, was recently interviewed by EtailTrends magazine. John explained what influencer marketing can do for retail companies. As an example he explained how the online platform ‘Look of the Day’ was created for V&D to give people fashion inspiration on a daily basis.
“It created a lot of traffic and conversion. Influencers created looks based on themes, and by adding them to products in the webshop, conversion went through the roof. Not only the influencer’s active fanbase but also new customers got enthusiastic.”
Nowadays you also see influencers really getting involved with the designing and creation of a new clothing line.
