The successful L.O.L. Surprise! launch for our client MGA Entertainment caused a total rage under the young girls back in 2017. The question remained if we could maintain this success and if we could transit it to the newest seasons with even more surprises. Think big. Think L.O.L. Bigger Surprise! and the biggest influencers within the toy industry.
The newest L.O.L. Surprise! items were top secret so this required a fixed schedule. At some point even we didn’t know ourselves what the products looked like. The L.O.L. Surprise! Pearl Surprise!, Bigger Surprise! and the new series Under Wraps were unboxed in a playful way by Meisje Djamila and Onnedi. These girls both had lots of fun in their dedicated YouTube video.
You could also see the direct effect of our campaign offline. The L.O.L. Surprise! stand at the Tina Festival could almost not handle the crowd. The brand made more revenues the first morning during the festival than they had done in the whole weekend the year before. The popularity of the brand increased thanks to the professional videos of Meisje Djamilla and Onnedi. The products are still flying off the shelves. And the views? At this moment there are 1.956.000 views in total and this number keeps on rising!
